Gist of value addition feature :

Benefit-1 Education Continuity Plan [Parental Coverage]

Aloha India assures that the student continues to gain quality education from the same school / institution without any interruption even if his / her earning parent who covered under this scheme meets with an accident resulting in death. The expenses incurring for paying fees, uniforms and books will be paid by Aloha India directly to the school till the child completes 10th standard.

Benefit-2 Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plan [Student & Staff]

2a)Aloha India assures a sum of Rs.1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) to the parent/guardian in the event of death of the Aloha student by accident or in the event of the Aloha student being dismembered ( severance of a body part ) in an accident.

2b) The staff (teaching and non teaching) are also covered for any accidental death or in the event of being dismembered (severance of a body part) due to any accident. A sum of Rs.1,00,000(Rupees One Lakh only) is given to the family member of the staff in the event of death or to the staff in the event being dismembered (severance of a body part)





Benefit-3. Accidental Medical Expenses [Students & Staff]

Aloha India assures to reimburse medical expenses incurred both as an in-patient (hospitalization) and out-patient (due to accidents) to the extent of Rs. 3000/= (maximum) per incident/accident. However there are no restrictions as to the number of incident or accident for reimbursement in a year. This benefit is an exclusive one and most of the Aloha students / teaching and non teaching staff may stand to immensely benefit from this one, as this will cover almost any type of injury.

Benefit-4 Exclusive Benefit for Staff

Incase of an accident resulting in a condition that would prevent the staff (teaching and non teaching) from attending to his / her official responsibilities, Aloha India will be paying compensation of Rs.1000/- per week for a maximum period of 52 weeks.

Eligibility

• The student / teaching and non teaching staff should obviously be studying / working in any one of ALOHA's program / centre at the time of the contingency arising to file a claim.

Categories covered

• Students studying in Aloha.
• One earning parent of Aloha student who covered under this scheme.
• Teaching and Non Teaching staff of Aloha.

Types of accidents covered:

• Accidents during class / working hours.
• Accidents while travel from house to Aloha Learning Centre and vice versa.
• Accidents during excursion trips, trekking camps.
• Accidents during participating in sports, championships, competitions etc.
• Accidents from road traffic.
• Accidents from common carriers like train and bus.
• Accidents from air traffic.
• Accidents while climbing up or down the staircase.
• Animal bite (like dog bite, snake bite etc) or stampede.

Natural Calamities covered:

• Floods
• Tremors
• Earthquake
• Tsunami
• Volcanic eruptions

Types of losses covered:

• Loss of life (accidental death)
• Loss of limbs (in an accident)
• Loss of eyesight (in an accident)
