Mr Kumaran K started Aloha India with just one centre at Chennai in Aug 2002 with 3 students. Today there are presently over 1200 Aloha Learning Centres spread across the country with an estimated enrolment of more than 2.25 Lakhs children. With his uncompromising commitment to excellence, visionary foresight and guidance, the Aloha movement in India has evolved into a resounding corporate success.
With a vision to creating learners for life and developing children into holistic learners through a challenging and nurturing environment, Mr Kumaran K has embarked on a journey of starting world class schools in Chennai and later a chain of schools in India under the brand name -“THE ALOHA SCHOOL”. The Bhoomi Puja for very first school named “GT ALOHA VIDHYA MANDIR” from K.G to 12th Standard was held on 28th October 2009 at Neelankarai, ECR, Chennai. The first phase of the school will start on 3rd June '2010. The school is being started in association with the well known Maharishi Vidhya Mandir brand that will give its expertise in the Curriculum.

THE ALOHA SCHOOL is being set up with a mission to help each student reach his full potential and develop a higher sense of self-esteem. We endeavour to equip each student with life skills. Our strong belief is that education should be oriented towards developing a fuller person in body, mind and intellect, a person imbibed with a sense of independence, commitment and compassion, a person capable of providing the kind of leadership our society needs.
